What can I say? This was such a fun session!
Jennifer & Tyler reached out to me, a couple of months back, and asked if I'd be interested in photographing their 1920's inspired, second anniversary, styled session. I quickly replied with a very enthusiastic "yes!". This sort of thing is right up my alley... vintage props, furniture and a very nice couple to work with... not to mention how awesome they looked! Jennifer was fabulous in a gorgeous Sue Wong dress (the dress she wore to her wedding reception) and Tyler was very dapper in his Beckett & Robb suit (also from their wedding).
Jennifer & Tyler were married two years ago on a very snowy day in VT. They now plan to celebrate each anniversary with a little, winter photo session that represents their adventures and growth over their past year of marriage. What a fun idea, right?!
This year's session was very representative of them spending the past year settling in to their new home, as well as their new roles as gracious hosts, at the lovely, Catalpa House, a historic bed & breakfast, in Rensselearville, NY.
Early on in the session we see Jennifer & Tyler 'hard at work' around their new inn. A bit later in the session, they open pretty, little envelopes that invite them to celebrate their anniversary at a romantic & intimate outdoor setting. Complete with actual anniversary gifts for one another!
It was a complete pleasure to have the opportunity to work with Jennifer & Tyler. Happy second anniversary to you two!
This shoot was completely styled by Jennifer! That is some amazing talent, no?
Hair & make up for this session was by the fabulous Kyle Garcia.
